St. Louis, MO - RehabCare Group, Inc. announced today a reorganization of its Phase 2 Consulting division in Salt Lake City, UT, which it purchased in May 2004. Phase 2 Consulting is a healthcare management and economic consulting firm, specializing in strategic planning, revenue cycle, clinical operations and productivity improvement, business planning, market and financial feasibility studies, and market research and analysis.
CareNexus was a product offering of Phase 2 Consulting’s Operations Team. As the CareNexus product continued to grow and develop, it eventually outgrew the business focus of Phase 2 Consulting. Today, the Operations Team, led by Executive Managing Director Mary Wilkes and assisted by Senior Consultants Mike Todai and Scott McConnell, branched off from Phase 2 Consulting to form its own business unit, CareNexus, a new division of RehabCare.
CareNexus will focus its expertise in healthcare financial and operational improvement, strategic planning, evidence-based practice and case management. Its approach will be to blend clinical research knowledge with sound business intelligence tools. CareNexus (the former Phase 2 Operations Team) has proven results in helping its clients achieve better margins, increased revenue, decreased costs, improved clinical outcome and resource utilization, while creating higher patient, physician and staff satisfaction scores.
CareNexus will be located at the RehabCare Group’s corporate office in St. Louis, MO.
